There are so many moving pieces that Alexis was already handling behind the scenes. This allowed not only my husband and I, but also our parents, to sit back and enjoy the ride. Leading up to our day, she eased all of my worries by answering all of my questions in a timely manner, thinking through anything and everything with me, and tying up ALL of the loose ends. She even was able to somehow get a last minute decorator for me the week of our wedding when I was scrambling. “Alexis was a GODSEND throughout several months of planning and coordinating, which was a HUGE help while trying to juggle a very busy lifestyle and family. However, she shined her brightest the week leading up to the wedding and especially on the day-of. She offered professional advice about things I should consider or reconsider, communicated with every vendor ensuring everything was taken care of and timelines were executed appropriately, she informed me of things I needed to know and just handled the hiccups that inevitably come up, she was gracious and hospitable and yet confident and direct with every person involved in the wedding, including guests. Most of all, she was at least 5 steps ahead of me at every turn on the day-of so that I didn't have to worry about a single thing. From making sure my dress train was fixed perfectly during the ceremony to getting me a plate of food at dinner to making sure to take pictures of everyone seated on the bus ready to leave - she just thought of everything. She gave opinions and offered vendors as we went and never made me feel like anything I wanted was anything other than perfect. She did a great job with the rehearsal and never went more than 30-45 minutes without checking in with Marcus or I to make sure we were happy and everything was good on the day of the wedding. I never had to worry and was able to enjoy the wedding of my dreams. It was the perfect day and we have no regrets about anything. It was the day we dreamed of and a lot of that was thanks to Alexis. From helping me organize my mess of a notes/lists/ideas at 1-month countdown to tearing down and even packing the decorations into our cars at the end of the night. In these 2 weeks, she met with me via zoom, was available for questions every single day, contacted all my vendors and asked questions I hadn’t even thought of, prepared the best timeline, and even just checked in to see how I was doing. She exceeded my expectations for what a day of coordinator provides. She was there to help with the rehearsal and even more help when our officiant showed up late and she had to run the whole show. She showed up early on the wedding day and just took care of everything so that I could enjoy time with my friends and family. I ended up hiring Alexis a month before the wedding because I started stressing about all of the moving parts of our wedding day (Organizing the wedding party, ceremony flow, room flips, snack and dessert tables that needed to be restocked, paying and/or tipping vendors at various times in the night, tear down at the end of the night, etc.). Originally I thought I could handle all of it and/or ask a few family members to help, and I CANNOT imagine what it would have been like if I hadn't hired Alexis. It’s hard to put into words what Alexis meant to us (and how helpful she was) on our wedding day – she absolutely blew any of my expectations away for a wedding coordinator. Leading up to our wedding day, Alexis was in contact with me almost every day – working through details, reaching out to my vendors, vendor meetings, answering all my questions, giving me suggestions, creating my timeline, the list goes on and on. Not only did this take planning stress off of me, but help me put my full trust into Alexis for wedding day. She knew my wedding plans inside and out, better than I did. Our wedding day turned out to be absolutely perfect – all thanks to Alexis! From the timeline, room setup, emergency day of kit, food delivery to keeping groomsmen in line she really did it all. You know she’s doing a good job when the groom stops me in the middle of the day and says, “whatever you’re paying Alexis, pay her double because she’s so great”. I figured I needed a day of coordinator since I didn't want to run the behind the scenes of the day, but man, I had no idea how absolutely essential Alexis was to our day and the month leading up to it. She confirmed all of my vendors, picked up the cake, helped set up the venue, made us eat and drink water, ran EVERYTHING the day of with poise and professionalism and a great attitude!
